Hot off the press! My husband Jean-Pierre and I are featured in the June issue of our neighbourhood magazine, about our 40-year journey of healing and hope after stroke, chronicled in my upcoming memoir Becoming Comfortably Numb: A Memoir on Brain-Mending.

I wrote this book with deep gratitude to so many who continue to help me over the years, and to raise funds for Élisabeth Bruyère Continuing Care, which provides superb stroke rehabilitation for the Ottawa area. Without them, I probably would not be here today, enjoying such a wonderful life.

We’re in the final stage of proofreading the PDF before publishing — coming out on Kindle this summer and in print this fall. Stay tuned!!

Best Always,

Cathy 😎
